Registration for the annual program, evening program, and courses is open from now until August 23rd. However, please note that we are holding intake rounds, so we cannot guarantee registration until August 23rd. Once the programs are full, they are full.
Unfortunately, full means that you have just missed your chance. Full really means full, so you can no longer register. The waiting list means that a course/training programme is currently full, but this is not yet the official list. People may still cancel, in which case you may be eligible for a place!
The year-long program/evening program and course are open to anyone who wants to pursue their dreams. The admissions process consists of an intake interview, during which we focus primarily on your motivation and goals. After this interview, a selection will be made.
The minimum age for BFA is 16.
Once you have registered, you will receive a response within 10 working days. This message will invite you to an intake interview. During this interview, the focus will be on your motivation and your dreams. After the intake interview, a selection will be made to determine whether your motivation and vision are a good fit for BFA. Once the student/course participant has been notified of their acceptance, the enrolment procedure will be finalised with a training agreement. Enrolment is only final once the training agreement has been signed and proof of payment of the reservation fee has been received by Business and Fashion Academy.
BFA is a private school, which means that the tuition fees are higher than at subsidised schools. With a larger budget, BFA can invest more in better teachers, smaller classes, fun projects and more personal guidance. This allows BFA to devote more time to you, which will lead to a positive working atmosphere and learning environment. This will result in unique and motivated students who do what they love to do.

To become a BFA student, you must attend an intake interview. You can schedule the interview via the BFA website. Within two weeks of the intake interview, you will be notified whether you have been accepted.
The BFA program is divided into four terms, with trimesters spanning approximately eight weeks.
Each trimester concludes with an exam week, during which a final assignment is assessed. If a student fails an exam, they will have a resit the week following their exam week.
An internship is not required during the BFA program or course. However, if a student does require one, you will receive personal guidance.
The BFA minimum age is 16. If you are younger than 18 and don't yet have a starting qualification such as a senior general secondary education (HAVO), pre-university education (VWO), intermediate vocational education (MBO) level 2 or higher diploma, you are still welcome at BFA provided your parents/guardians are aware and you have applied for an exemption from the qualification requirement with the education officer in your municipality.
BFA wants to work with you towards a goal, encouraging and motivating you. We can only collaborate if this vision also benefits your funding. If you are confident in your participation and commitment, you can register via the website. Once registered, you will be invited for an intake interview, after which you can enroll. After the student/trainee has been informed of the selection made by BFA, the registration process begins, and registrations are finalized with a signed training agreement plus a booking fee. The booking fee will be deducted from the remaining tuition fee.
BFA has two locations.
The BFA location in Eindhoven is at Stratumseind 32. The location in Utrecht is at Nieuwegracht 13.
The BFA location in Antwerp is at Meir 12.
The BFA maintains a higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level. Within the Business Fashion Academy learning community, students are trained to become critical and curious professionals who live and work in the multidisciplinary and international environment of the business and fashion industry.
BFA's response time is within 24 hours.
If you have any complaints, you can submit them to the Business and Fashion Academy Complaints Committee by emailing info@businessfashionacademy.nl. Complaints will be processed within four weeks.
Business Fashion Academy does not grant exemptions for parts of a training course.
BFA has three periods and a graduation period. At the end of each period, you will receive a major subject assessment and a final exam for that period.
You have the opportunity to retake each final exam. The graduation period is completed with a final exam. There are also opportunities to retake this exam.
BFA does not have written examinations. All examinations are practical examinations.
